How It Works

From expiry detection to automated API registration — a fully automated pipeline that runs 24/7.

Domain Lifecycle

Every domain goes through a predictable lifecycle. We track each phase in real-time and act the moment a domain becomes available.

Registered
1-10 years
Grace Period
0-45 days
Redemption
30 days
Pending Delete
5 days
Available
Monitoring starts
When a domain enters Grace Period, our system begins tracking it every 1-2 minutes via RDAP.
You get notified
During Redemption and Pending Delete — you receive alerts that the domain is approaching availability.
Registration submitted
Once we observe the domain as available, the system submits a registration request through your connected registrar API, subject to the registrar's schedule and rate limits.
Step 01

Domain Discovery

Domains enter our system from multiple sources: expired domain feeds, drop lists from registries, and community submissions. Every domain gets a unique entry in the pipeline.

We aggregate data from multiple registrar APIs and curated expired domain lists. Each source runs on its own schedule to ensure continuous discovery.

Step 02

Wayback Machine Check

Before any expensive RDAP checks, we query the Wayback Machine to see if the domain ever had real content. Domains with no web history are filtered out immediately.

We fetch archive snapshots showing titles, descriptions, and content history spanning years. This reveals what the domain was used for and helps you avoid spam or parked domains.

Step 03

RDAP Lifecycle Tracking

Real-time RDAP queries to registry servers track each domain through its lifecycle: expiry, redemption period, pending delete, and finally — available for registration.

Checks run every 1-2 minutes across hundreds of distributed proxies. We detect phase transitions the moment they happen, from redemption grace periods to the final drop.

Step 04

AI Analysis

Every domain with web history gets analyzed by AI. We extract keywords, niche categories, entity types, language, and country — then score it against your monitoring criteria.

AI reads the Wayback Machine content, web entity descriptions, and domain name patterns to build a comprehensive profile. This powers the niche matching engine.

Step 05

Instant Notifications

When a domain matches your niche profile and score threshold, you get an email within minutes. The alert includes all metrics: age, AI analysis, archive history, and direct registration links.

Set a minimum score threshold for each niche list. Only domains that meet your quality bar trigger notifications — no noise, no irrelevant drops.

Step 06

Auto-Registration

Connect your registrar API key. When a domain passes your score threshold — it gets registered automatically at standard registrar prices.

No auction markup, no premium pricing. You register directly through your own registrar account at the same price as any new domain. DA.N does not perform domain catching or sniping — registration goes through your registrar's standard API.
