Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about DA.N and how domain monitoring works.
Getting Started
What is DA.N?
DA.N (Domains Available Now) is a platform that monitors expiring domains and tracks them through their entire lifecycle — from expiration through grace periods, pending delete, and finally availability. Each domain is enriched with historical archive data, DNS records, and AI content analysis. The service is currently in beta.
How do I get started?
Create an account — Free includes Domain Monitoring, Domain Check, and all analytics tools at no cost. Lite (€10/mo) adds Page Monitor with 5,000 URLs. Basic (€30/mo) unlocks the full domain catalogue: unlimited browse and search with niche/keyword filters, plus larger save caps. Advanced (€50/mo) adds auto-registration, redirects, and CSV export.
Is this a finished product?
DA.N is currently in beta / MVP stage. The core functionality works, but some features are still being developed and there may be occasional issues. If you encounter a problem, please contact [email protected].
Domain Monitoring
How does domain monitoring work?
The platform continuously monitors domain status changes across the expiration pipeline. We detect transitions between lifecycle phases — redemption, pending delete, verification — and confirm availability when a domain becomes available.
What can I do with saved searches?
You can create saved search filters with specific criteria (TLD, age, language, topics, score) and quickly access them from the dashboard. This helps you monitor domains matching your interests without setting up filters every time.
What TLDs do you monitor?
We monitor all major generic TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz) and hundreds of country-code and new gTLDs (.io, .co, .dev, .app, .uk, .de, etc.). The list grows as we add more data sources.
Registration
How does auto-registration work?
Connect your Namecheap API key in the dashboard. When a domain you're watching becomes available, it gets registered automatically through your registrar account at the standard price. Namecheap is the primary registrar for auto-registration. RX-Name is available for Ukrainian domains in testing mode. We are open to any suggestions for improving this functionality.
Do I pay extra for registration?
No. Domains are registered through your own registrar account. Prices are set by the registrar — we don't add any markup or commissions.
Which registrars are supported?
Namecheap is the primary registrar with full auto-registration support. Dynadot, INWX, and Spaceship are integrated for price checking and availability verification. You connect via API key — all credentials are stored encrypted, no plaintext data.
Pricing & Account
What are the pricing plans?
Free — Domain Monitoring, Domain Check (batch), all analytics (Search Console, Bing, GA4, Cloudflare), URL Inspector (1,000 URLs/day across all properties), IndexNow + Google Indexing API, 50-result browse/search. Lite €10/month — everything in Free plus Page Monitor (5,000 URLs, stackable URL Pack add-on). Basic €30/month — full access to the domain database: browse by category, search by niche and keywords, saved searches, saved lists, favorites. Advanced is €50/month — everything in Basic plus Auto-Registration, one-click domain registration, redirects, CSV export, and Site Builder (in development).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard at any time. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No penalties, no lock-in contracts.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. All prices are in EUR plus applicable VAT. The service is operated by an EU-registered company (Estonia). Payments are processed securely — we never store card details.
Data & Privacy
Where does the domain data come from?
We aggregate data from multiple sources to build a comprehensive database of expiring and available domains. Each domain is enriched with lifecycle status, historical archive data, DNS records, and AI-powered content analysis.
Is my registrar API key safe?
Yes. API keys are stored securely and encrypted. They are used for availability checks, price verification, and auto-registration (depending on registrar). You can revoke access at any time from your dashboard.
